My singer bud ran over with ADKOT the day it was released and said this song sounds EXACTLY like you - bass and all...my fam said the said thing. I've alwys nalied those kinds of harms with ease..maybe not way he's doin' them...but they sound the same.

Wolf and his Pop is kickin' fuggin' ass. I prefer this to Vai/Sheehan 25 years ago. It sounds like music that shows off. Not a vehicle to show in with music.

Trust me, BUY THE ALBUM...forget Tattoo...I don't know why the execs picked THAT song to re-introduce classic DLR VH. The albums is exactly that in 2012. Ed is on fire and his tone kills. Their lives shows always blew..Dave anywhoo.. The US Festival anyone?..Dave standing there smiling, outta his mind..."I forgot the fuggin' words man.." randomly screaming and humping..that's Dave. hahaa

I was in a VH trib for years..learned ALL Mike's bass lines in/out and tenfold. Wolf sounds like that tenfold. I could have laid down better bass than Mike, but the man has major groove and voice. Wolf has that tenfold sans voice. I miss Mike's voice too..but, oh well. I prefer the tight, inventive, fresh, cocky playing instead.

Tattoo should have been somewhere else on the record..bonus or left off. It doesn't suck, but it is NOT a fair representation to VH fan expectations by no means. VH fans want to hear rockers..HFT and shit like that. Any song on this record could be a MUCH bigger hit than Tattoo. Don't let that song ruin what you waited for since 84..great song..great playing..production is 100% impeccable..it is 100% Van Halen..yes, even without Mike. In fact it's more Van Halen..if you go by DNA code. Wolf is a BETTER bass player IMO! I know a little about bassists.

No keyboards..I repeat NO KEYBOARDS ..All Ed + Dave - on their game in 2012. I'd have never thought possible. Only Ed and Dave made timeless VH music. DLR didn't fair well with time..but ALL DLR-era VH ceratinly did. They're more immortal than Kiss, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Stones...well maybe not the Stones.

C'mon what if our intoduction to Van Halen was "One foot out the door", or "Woman and children first"..There wouldn't be Van Halen.

Knoxville got cancelled, not that I was going but my sister and my niece were going, and already had theirs, so theyre wondering about a refund. I belive Eddie is on the bottle again

The "official" word is that they are taking a break and replanning the second leg of the tour to keep it fresh. We will see.

I'm not concerned. Ed proved he can come back with a vengeance. I never thought it could happen , because the way he acted and looked. Especially at that NAMM show w/ Peavey several years ago. I think, especially those who witnessed it were convinced Ed was done. He wasn't..he had to do whatever to get his head straight..rehab...whatever.

Now George Lynch despreately needs to follow Eddie's example. I don't know if he's in denial or what, because he plays like shit for far too long. That was not the case with Ed considering he did put out some decent writing in the mid to late 90's..and that one clip of him playing an instrumental (Ed playing all instruments) video at 5150 , all sweaty..was it "Caroline"..a girl's name. That was truly great IMO!. That showed promise. George had no such moment.

VH will make good on the tour. They're not young, and he always wanted to be on top of his game or not play. I remember a old interview where he was crying because of his performance. When nobody noticed anything wrong. He's a perfectionist. He'll come back. These are facts!

Besides, can you imagine how much money is owed for cancelling this tour. ...billions...trillions..

I just wish they'd release a version of ADKOT without the vocals. Great album instrumentally, but vocally Dave just needs to hang it up.

It's not cancelled, just postponed.

I wouldn't go as far as saying "billions or trillions" but it would be 100s of millions VH can't afford to lose and that's why this tour isn't "cancelled" just postphoned till a later date.....
