Cool read! If Ed made these same comments today, you'd think he's name dropping, but it's amazing how small the guitar world was back then. "Wayne Charvel, he's okay...Grover Jackson, he's ripping me off...Seymour Duncan, also ripping me off...Floyd Rose, he's making an okay trem, but a little tinny and can't tune on the fly..." BTW, this was Floyd's version without the fine tuners.
BTW, I didn't realize he refretted his own guitars."Your work is ingenius…it’s quality work….and there are simply too many notes…that’s all, just cut a few, and it’ll be perfect."
