First song on the new LoG is crushing. What a way to open an album. Total Eyehategod worship though. Still good. Then from track 2, it goes into your LoG-style. Not bad. Need to re-listen. Hasn't grown on me completely.

You want total devastation? Check out the new one from Black Cobra. It's a 2-piece from San Francisco. They decimate all with just a guitar and drums.

I check out the Southern Lord site every once in awhile and have heard of Black Cobra before. They're great! The LoG album intro also reminded me of Eye Hate God, and I've got their first two or three CDs around here somewhere.

These guys just keep getting better and better with each album. I wondered if Wrath could be topped. Thanks toejam, I wasn't aware of the release, but just downloaded it, and the whole thing is awesome.
