Ticket sale is tomorrow, Saturday, I'll try to get a pair. I have seen Maiden 3 times already. Somewhere in time tour around 86 if I recall well, in 2000 also, and the last time was with Dream Theater.

I saw the last tour with DT too. They mostly did newer shit from 2000 on through now, which kinda caught me off-guard but was still a good show.

      And DT pissed me off.

"Well that's it only time for one more song"

They only had an hour. They could have picked some of their shorter songs to give fans more shit than the six we got.

Hmm, I thought after the BiT tour they told the fans they we're 'done with rehashing the old stuff' and moving forward again with their music

...Not that I mind a rehash from the '7th tour' though, the Dance of Death tour proved somewhat lacklustre to me anyway

It worked for Rush's Time Machine tour. And I am guessing that was a factor in their decision.

Reading IM's website, they mention using the same production and shit from back then. I can only hope it means a return of the giant puppets and animatronics. I hope so. I miss that shit at Maiden concerts. Last time around, Eddie was tiny as hell and didn't appear until the end

Please don't tell me that Eddie has been downsized. Damn recession!

Last time around, Eddie was a human-sized half-torso that appeared so the side of the stage in the last song (number of the beast). From where I was seated, I didn't even see him until they put him on the video screens.

                      It was kinda generic

I assume you are going to shoreline. We got seats in the 200's. Gonna be a great show.

No, actually I'm going to the show in Sac. I can't make the Friday night show...but Saturday is a go!! Would have been cool to go to both since both are within driving distance, but Friday is out for me.

In all the years Ive been mental for Maiden, last year was the first time I got to go to a show & holy shit, it don't matter one flea cock how old they're getting, those guys can still put on the greatest show on earth.

'The Final Frontier' seemed pretty horrible when I got it but the show gave me a new interest in it, still my least favourite Maiden album but I just needed to give it a chance.

Is Australia on the tour list?
