      Considering our surroundings.....

Do you think Loomis ever wishes he didn't have to play Schecters?

He seems pretty happy with Schecter actually and I bet they treat him really well. I kind of like their production set up actually. They build the guitars in the far east and then ship them over for inspection & final setup in the US. So it helps keep the quality high with prices low.

Of course everything then depends on that final inspection and setup, but they seem to take it seriously.

I always wondered if the endorsees got guitars built out of the US custom shop made to look like the imports.

My guess would be they get the final approved proto, and then if the artist wants/needs more they probably cherry pick production ones till they find an outstanding one and then have one of their top guys do a setup.

Listening to this was like deja vu.

I can't help but feel that Jeff has been watching some of my clips on youtube.

Awesome album! Bought it right after seeing this thread. Jeff rocks!Regarding his sig guitar, anyone played it? I have terrible GAS for another V and saw his upcoming V sig and really dig it. How's the neck on these?

I really like Jeff's sig model. The neck feels comfortable to me. I don't think it is as chunky as the C7s but not as flat & wafer thin as an Ibby 7. Love the oxblood finish. Not so keen on the black.

But me playing it is like this:

                  Hail yesterday
