I'm sorry I watched that. I had fond memories of seeing RATT when I was young... that seemed more like a parody of a tribute band... seemed emotionally void compared to the old days.

Maybe it's just hearing the age in Stephen's voice sound like he smoked way too much coke in the 80's.

Y&T is gonna play over here in a couple of weeks. I hope they haven't suffered the same fate.

Yeah that was pretty horrible. However, I did catch Extreme live on Hdnet yesterday. It was from a few years ago, I think right before the Rihanna gig. It was in Boston. I never realized how amazing that band is live. Nuno's tone was so awesome, it's got me looking for a used Nuno sig Randall head. Their backups were perfect. they were tight as hell. I DVR'ed it and watched it again last night. Made the Ratt show an embarrassment. I mean Warren is an amazing player and sounded great, but Stephen, I mean come on. I also saw Lynch Mob last week here in CT at Mohegan Sun. They sounded great too Oni was spot on and what can I say about george. Dudes amazing. Got to meet him backstage and hang for a bit too. He's a real class act.

That was pretty cool. It would have been better if he sang lead. He's still got it. Is he beck permanently or was it just for that or a few gigs?

Glad to see Juan with his Jackson.
I never got to see Ratt live back in the day, but I'm sure Pearcy's voice was just as bad then as it was last night. He seemed to get a little better, though.

I felt for Warren because the Crossed Swords guitar kept cutting out at the solos. Bad wireless?
Glad to see them play Scene of the Crime, but wished Carlos was in tune for it.

Yup, Carlos's guitar in tune would have been much better!.... Juan's vocals are still as strong as they were in the 1980's!!

To me it sounded like almost every band had sound problems. Guitars cutting out. Pearcy really sucked, he even came in to early on one song. I was actually impressed with Styper's chops. Michael and Oz sounded prettey good except for the first song with guitars cutting out. Didn't realize that Michael was that good of a player. I never really got into them and I always thought Michael was just the singer / rhythm player. George Lynch really loves his delay....to much.

Juan was always a hidden talent in that band. It's too bad he toned down his stage moves for this gig!

Didn't he used to catch hell from the band about his stage moves?

Akira kicks ass live, seen him live in Denver and the guy kills. Night Ranger was good, Brad Gillis , what can you say , he brings it ever time.

We played an outdoor show with ratt here in 2009, warren was awesome and a totally nice guy, even signed our other guitar players charvel. Stephen on the other hand was a total fucking dick and sounded like dogshit. Its obvious they A) hate each other and B) are just doing it for the cash. Steven anyway.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL
