    Get it..all wet?

    That's funny!

Oh..that's why he wears that glove. In fact, I never seen him without that glove. Even in interviews. I bet he can't take it off. It's been stuck on his hand since 1996. That was the year OJ got off with murder. He wore a glove that didn't fit. coincedence..I think not. I think George Lynch was hired by OJ for murder...check that glove for DNA!!!

Hmmmm ..Michael Jackson only wore one glove...wait??? This is conspiracy type shit. I think George Lynch is responsible for the death of Michael Jackson...and 911 !!! Oh, man I am awesome at solving crimes!! These are 1000% facts!!!

If only our own physical challenges, playing and career could stand up to such scrutiny.
Funny cause i just got done watching a concert of him with alcatrazz then read this! LOL
I think yngwie is a super brilliant player, some seem to forget that when he first came out nothing like that had been done in rock guitar at least not at that level, guys like ULI,ritchie were using harmonic minor and diminished scales sure but like ed he was a pioneer/innovator IMHO and i will never criticize him because if that! despite what anyone else has to say about him!

But Kill All Control I think is a great album. Don may be doing better gigs, but I would say that is on the Dokken recognition, where as Lynch Mob never was in the public eye long enough to have the name recognition outside of 80's Metal enthusiast & guitarists. The video he was featured on I don't think was terrible. Did the kid outplay GL... sure but was that mostly due to degradation of skill or the fact it was the kids album not GL's? So it's this kids album/tune, did the kid write the song including GL's parts or was that something GL layed down in the studio? One more point to this, if it really sucked, I would think the kid would have ixnayed the tune or rerecorded GL's parts himself.

Now before I go get flamed for being a GL fanboy & sticking up for the guy. I'll be the 1st to say GL at 50 something is not the GL of his 20s-30s. But I don't think he is a scrub. Was Les Paul not being outplayed by the younger cats... YES, but who cares, it was Les F'n Paul. I say the same for GL. Although I am not a huge EVH fan I'll say the same for him. Would I pay to go see either play, hell yes unless I felt I was getting raked over the coals like KISS does to it's fans. That reminds me, has KISS put out any new material in the last 20 years. Maybe a tune or 2, but really it is a rehash of all the old material, that they still want you to pay top dollar for.

Umm..are we talking personal taste or skill because if anything YJM's skill has increased quite a bit over the years and he has done some good stuff past 87........MM

ADKOT is better than anything Lynch ever put out. Gilbert is on an entirely different level FAR above both EVH and Lynch. He makes Lynch look like Ace Frehley, for God's sake! I love what Lynch did in his prime but he ain't that guy anymore. Sorry but that's just the truth.

Exactly!!!! In fact Les Paul would be the first dude to admit he enjoyed sitting next to or standing beside these guys having it handed to him! He just loves music, players taking it to a new level. Those are people he can relate to, interact with in part with because I think due to the fact that he once was in their shoes! Not to mention, Les Paul just loved music, and playing!!

Don had a great, melodic vocal. George was one of the best guitarists to come out of the 80's. Was Don a better businessman? Sure. He got a record contact, admittedly with a song he didn't write, and used it to jump-start a career. Now he's only got Mick to contend with in terms of the split, and everyone else is a hired gun. Without George though, I honestly don't see Dokken having the success they had. That's why Don finally cracked and hired a mimic (who just happened to be his attorney), albeit a damned good one, after years of putting up a "I don't need George or anyone that plays like him" front.

And you're right. Re-recording Dokken songs to get attention is lame.
I'm hard up because I have a different opinion than you? Sausage please!

Who cares if it was booze, or blow, or both? They were all fucked up, but 3 of them were trying to get rid of THE guy who got the record deal. Without which they would have all still been playing on the Strip getting outdrawn by Pair-a-Dice. Don did swipe the song, but Dieter Dierks was gonna do something for him regardless. He was lined up to replace Klaus Meine in Scorpions if his vocal chord surgery had not worked out. His backup vocals are all over the Blackout album. He WAS going somewhere, with or without George. Did anyone else from Xciter ever get anywhere? Maybe so, but not that I know of.

They're both pretty pathetic now, and admittedly Don is worse - yet he can still get better gigs than Lynch can. Why do you think that is?

T&N are doing a DOUBLE album of half Dokken covers and half new stuff. That's TWICE as much crap that won't sell! But by then Foreigner will be ready to tour again and so will Nugent. Leaving George out in the cold again.

I love you too, Bill!! And Billy White too!

We see this video with Ethan Brosh, and here's the deal. There are many guitarists who were influenced by Lynch in the same way many were influenced by Ace Frehley, when they were kids, but way surpassed their influences.

So Ethan Brosh asks George to play on his song and be in the video. George agrees, and Ethan is gonna be happy with WHATEVER George plays, because it's his hero, right? But GEORGE takes it as "I must still have it, because this kid shreds and HE likes what I'm doing!". That's how I see it, he has decided his shit is honey-flavored peanut butter and his fans will gobble it up! He is coasting on fumes and doesn't even know it!
