    Finally! Someone mentions Rory Gallagher. Way, way, way underrated guitarist/musician. "Irish Tour" is hands-down one of the best live albums. Seek it out if you haven't already.

    I've recently fallen for this departed slinger for my blues fix. How he gets an AC 30 to sound so thick with a strat of all guitars blows me away...

    i love the Rainbow cover "since you've been gone" on that album, he tears through that solo the way he should have
    for the rest of his following career, gotta have some blues mixed in or it just ain't as catchy for me.

    I also really love the concerto....even though it was bashed........Icarus Dream Suite Fanfare, Rampante, and Presto Vivace were killer....I love them all but these are my favs...Bill, I too bought the import version and did not wait..........I think it was 70 bucks.........I would dare to say you will be hard pressed to find a bigger Yngwie fan than myself.................MM

    Probably me as well but I do like Paraphrase...Bach inspired also.......His best would be Far Beyond the Sun, followed by Black Star and then Evil Eye IMO........FBTS AND BS are almost like a tie..........Fuck I can't really choose.....

    Bill, something much worse has happened. Kenny G's cd's are often in the jazz section. When I have time I of course take them away and put them into pop section, the place where they belong. Long lecture to the workers in the record store follows...

    OK to Yngwinators!! what is the best..or one of Yngwie's classical cover ..great composer inspired pieces. In your opinion.

    He went on record several times that he is a classical guitarist, and wished his music filed in the classical section and not in rock/heavy metal.

    I have his complete body of work..but I want to know from devoted fans
