        Bill,
you have ruined and tarnished the sanctity of this thread, and i naturally jumped right in and added to it.
i wish technology was far enough ahead for me to send you an -E-Joint. Someday i hope, someday.

Physically, mentally, musically. And he never quite recovered. To this day he seems to go back and forth about backhanding his past like a redheaded stepchild and acknowledging the great stuff he did. It's like he's ashamed, even though most of us would trade 2012 George for 1986-1993 George in a heartbeat.

Warren, on the other hand, may have changed things up a bit but he never really forgot/had issue with who he was. And he puts up with Stephen Pearcy, who I'm honestly sure is as bad if not worse than Don Dokken.

I really hope they put another album out next year with juan back in the band.
Good luck. With Blotz in Geoff Tate's version of Queensryche, it seems unlikely. He also mentioned that Stephen and Warren apparently still can't get along, which I can't blame Warren for (especially after the M3 performance).

What happened at the M3 performance?

Stephen was just really bad, even for Stephen. Not related, poor Warren's wireless kept going out on the snakeskin and Carlos' one guitar was out of tune...it was a pretty amateur performance, really. I was shocked.

Then again, I'm a pretty harsh critic.

Never cared for hair-metal, but Dimartini is a rare exception in a sea of men's neon-colored leotards and hairspray. His playing is awesome and I wish he had tried more genres to really show just how ridiculously capable he really is.

i disagree seph, he was like a modern Joe Perry with a little more lightning, i never thought Warren's look was too overboard, after the first album at least.
He's a type of player that doesn't need to branch out, he's always played right in the context of the songs with just enough to make you groove and just enough to say wow, nice rip, i'm learning that lick right the fuck now!! I agree it would be interesting to see what he may have branched out to, but in his cae, i think he didn't need to, he always has written catchy great stuff to my ear.

as much as a fan of 80s Ratt that I am... Pearcy's studio sound is great. his live sound is weak. do know about currently, but he used to use mics with built-in pre-amps to make up for his lack of vocal power/presence. of course, that can screw with what the sound guy has to work with.

not to get off-topic, but I've always thought Robbin was the core of Ratt's sound... much like Steve Clark was the core of Def Leppard. neither band has been as impressive without them. as Robbin's playing diminished, so did Ratt's songs. at least Carlos is a valid contributor to what Ratt has to bring to the table.

i agree, his voice on the albums is pretty cool, i liked it alot actually, but live it was a whole other ballgame, no even close to the studio.
