I was just going to say that! I caught them with Testament when they played at the Cow Palace. That was a good show. Sad to seem them fall apart like this.

Yeah I saw em on the Jagermeister Circuit along with Megadeth and Anthrax opening. Was a kickass show.

I can't really disagree with that, but there was a lot of crap between. Still, nothing compares to Hell Awaits or Reign in Blood, which are two of my all time favorite albums from any artist...

That album still blows me away. Hell Awaits is one of the first true Death Metal albums, IMO.

And that's pretty much the only time I ever wanted to see them live. Ever since it was just "meh" with me. They're good and all but like Anthrax I think their peak came and went a long time ago.

And I am not surprised by this. So many musicians got screwed by not being legal-savvy and signing contracts without realizing they signed away all their rights as equal members and owners in bands, and got screwed out of millions because of it.

...like what happened recently to the STP singer. Got ousted out of the band he helped create in the first place. But now it seems its all a publicity stunt! Maybe this is one such thing as well?

Imagine if Rick Ruben didn't tell them to go simple and melodic. I love Reign in Blood it's also a masterpiece, but it would have been vastly different if he didn't become their producer.

So I'm walking down a very old street in Zurich, Switzerland in 2010 or 2011..can't remember which year because I was there there both those times, but as I'm walking, I here to most foul, rude, and fucked up English Language right outside of Starbucks....man it was bad and I could easily hear it since English is my first language. As I look over, I see these gutter trash looking dudes sitting there and low and behold it was Jerry King talking to someone. I walked within 2 feet of him and at first didn't even know who it was and damn near said something.

Dave Lombardo just got Punk'd... I mean, Bill Ward'd! What a shame. Jon Dette is a great drummer and has been doing a fine job doing double-duty for Anthrax and Slayer, but hopefully they sort their shit out and get Lombardo back.
