Nope not about VH, here's an old Megadave show I found. I know there's a couple of fan boys here. Thought y'all might enjoy it

I'm sure someone who's more into it than I am can correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that Kerry playing rhythm?

I think thats honestly one of the worst sounding recordings I've ever heard. Like the only thing you can hear is Dave's voice. The instruments are just a wall of mush.

It's pretty difficult to get an accurate representation of tone from YouTube on a good day. To judge tone from a live, grainy, crappy VHS upload to YouTube is pretty much impossible. There's no low end in that video at all, including the drums!

Yeah, that's Kerry - he played a few of the first shows on that tour but didn't get along too well with Dave's personality - imagine that.

That's 80's videocam audio. And yes, that's probably Kerry playing.

Oh I understand the reason it's terrible. But I've heard 8th generation bootlegs where the mic is rubbing against some chicks ass the whole show that sound better than that.

not great. But it's a fixed videocam at the back of the room. The performance is TIGHT! I was watching Get Thrashed again last night. Some of the old footage in that still sounds pretty good

This along with Killing is My Business further proves that early Megadeth were too fucked up to appreciate good tone. The songs were good but the tone.. not so much. Fortunately this was fixed around the Peace Sells era.

Kerry King was in Megadeth for about 9 shows in 1984.

Horrible sound quality aside(Y'all are right about the recorder I'm sure), I enjoyed watching the whole thing. The overall playing did seem very tight for being a revolving door of players at the time....
