  • Jake Kiley / Jackson COW with Charvel USA 24 fret neck.

Saw this picture and just had to post it. I know he had a silver-burst jackson COW, he must have switched the stock ebony reverse head stock neck with a neck from some vintage USA Charvel (gold logo) 24 fret maple bolt on neck...Pretty bad ass! Body is definitely a Jackson COW.I think his current set up is something like Jackson Customshop (similar to COW but with graphic of their Live in a Dive album), EVH amp, JMP amp, Poly-chours and moogerfooger pedals. Jake Kiley is heavily influenced by Randy Rohads and it shows in a lot of his solos. This guy never ceases to amaze me! My favorite guitar player, and major influence on me. Make me want to play better.

Who is Jake Kiley? And why does he never take possession (seize) of you?

Uh oh grammar police! I edited the two words you guys were having trouble reading. My apologies. English is my second language. But seriously, Jake Kiley is the extremely underrated lead guitar player of the punk/metal band "Strung Out". \m/

Hey, Louie, no probs! With your name & loc, I thought you were a native.

Here's some Jake solos, I spot a Kevin Bond Rhoads and a Bark At The Moon solo in here

Thank you for posting that video! The first solo is from a Strung Out song called "Blueprint of the Fall" then "Bark at the moon. THE DUDE IS A SHREDDER! The axe he is playing is a custom ESP M-1.

Cool! I've heard of them but can't recall hearing anything from them. Maybe I did on the local college metal radio station, but I can't remember really paying attention. I'll have to check more of their stuff out.
