as i get close to 50 i want to ask you guys who started you playin? we all have heros, but who was the first 2 or 3 players made you wanted to pick up the instrument. While I love Geddy, Geezer and Steve Harris, a young 6 yr old, was changed by C.F.Turner. Mars Cowling and Mel Schacher forever!

Randy Rhoads, Mick Mars, Jake E. Lee - Blizzard and Diary were two of my first metal albums and blew me away as a kid, especially Randy's playing.The first Motley videos came out on MTV - Looks That Kill/Shout At The Devil - Mick and Nikki with those BC Rich's were too damn cool, fast-forward a few months and I went to my first concert, Ozzy and Motley Crue on the BatM tour - Jake E. Lee live was awesome and from there it was all over.Comment
