Hmm, I have already given my money to Loomis by buying his records, Now I am supposed to cough up more cash due to an event that happens to millions on a daily basis.
What style of music he plays or what the general public's taste in music is irrelevant, this is a guy with more money than you or I asking us to donate?
I wonder if he would donate to me if I got ripped off? No offense but shit happens. Being that well known of a musician, why solicit donations and threaten to cancel your tour? That's some terrible shit to do to ticketholders and the public.

I asked my Insurance agent about my Instrument coverage. If you play for hire your homeowners rider coverage is null and void. You would need an expensive commercial policy to cover musical equipment in the case of a professional touring musician.
