I just watched some of "Rocklohoma" on Direct TV (AXS). Chicken Foot ended the concert. Not a huge Satriani or Ibanez fan, but as I was watching Satriani during his solos, I noticed that there was black tape on the headstock over the Ibanez Logo. No other brands or logos were covered during other bands performances. Does anyone know if Satch is leaving the Ibanez brand?

Just saw him on a master class tour in Oz and he was showing off the new "Muscle car Red" JS24. So I can't give an answer why he'd have tape on the head?
Don't know why the gitbox came out so yellowy/orange in my photo when it looked ok on the poster behind Joe?

I don't know why that was. I checked his website and it's still all Ibanez. I also can't believe he would walk away from that "Cash Cow".Comment

All his personal guitars are made at the Sugi shop or at LACS... guitars from either shop are as good as any other hand-made brand and better than most. some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
