+1 My band played an outdoor gig at Vail in Colorado in 2002. If it wasn't for the few space heaters that were in front of the monitors there would have been no way I could have played the whole 17 song set list. My fingers just didn't want to move the way they normally do. It was as if they didn't want to cooperate with my brain at all.

yea. it sucks when you're throttling the neck because you can't feel the strings. On top of that, your finger muscles get slow & unresponsive because of the temperature. Hell, you can even feel that in your face, when you release your smile and it takes a minute for your face to relax

Once it's close to the same as the outside temperature and the wood tightens you just tune up again. Then you have to repeat the process when you warm the guitar up. Sometimes the neck will even need an adjustment.

stopped listening to them after the and justice for all album...listened to some of the black album but too me.. it looked like an album that was meant to be more mainstream ..
