Watching the grammys and what do I see. John mayor all geeked out and playing an old pink soloist. Interesting to say the least.

He ended his relationship with Fender last October. So now he plays a Fender-owned brand. Yeah, that'll teach the bastiges!

The thing I like is right now he can play whatever he wants and he's choosing an old school soloist. Good choice IMO, although I prefer a blade to mini toggles. It was the main reason I chose a model 5 over a model 6 back in the day.

I just saw the grammy thing here in Ireland. Cool. If soloists become "popular" cool again I imagine the custom shop lead times will go on forever as famous people jump the queue for their "john Mayer" guitar. ��Power chords...what more do you need?!Comment
