Looks like it all sold. Sadly for Tom Paleki, the multi coloured PEAR VVV made in 1992 only went for a small amount. Hoping Vinnie would have had the decency to throw a few pennies that he owes Tom...but sadly not with this sale.

The re-sprayed First Five Rhoads went for $US20,000 + the 25% premium (yeesh).

He was shown in a Carvin ad holding a black one but in the That Time of Year video it's a silver one. Guess the black one was brought in for the photo shoot.

The thing is...
I don't remember that video at all. But I really have images in my head of a mtv video with him playing a black double neck. I just can't find it. And that assumes that a memory of 25 years ago hasn't blurred or blended with something else.

Yeah you're remembering right, guyy! I thought for a long time that it was black but if you look at the end of the video around the 4.25 mark, you can see that the body is silver. Silver fits in with the colour scheme too since Vinnie had re-sprayed his pink/silver VVV to silver/purple, black would have looked out of place IMO.

Just to note, Mark was a tad whiny as a vocalist but he nails it on this tune!
