  • Act of Defiance - Broderick's new Jackson

Act of Defiance has a video out, and Broderick's playing the new Jackson that was posted here a while back. Not a fan of the singer but the music is pretty good.

Great tune, but I still think the guitar looks like a Hamer Scarab with birth defects!

I like the tune as well even though this thrash style is very redundant these days, as for the guitar, I think it looks hideous with that headstock!

That's weird. Wonder why they took it down.

I believe the original had some metronome going on at the beginning.

I did read something about that, but I couldn't hear it.

Holy shit, Henry Derek is the lead singer. Knew him back when he was in Lilitu here in Atlanta. Here he is in Blood Promise https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_pskOtnFaw and some old Lilitu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY_GTFo0W8Y

Except Llitu will always be more awesome than anything Broderick does.

Lilitu had some very interesting songs; I wonder if Derek is allowed to write much at all and if what he could come up with would go over well. I wonder how much influence he had in Scar the Martyr and now in AoD.
