look at the chemicals in products that are supposed to help you take care of your teeth. Those products keep dentists busy and rich. Shit erodes your enamel away ... as do the acidic soft drinks and energy drinks. My grand parents used baking soda and regular Listerine . Sugar in tooth paste is counter productive if you ask me, may as well brush your teeth with a tootsie roll or a sucker. How about these people obsessed with how white their teeth are and use BLEACH!!! Oh well, fuck it, don't get me started on the vaping crowd another bunch of herb derps , give up smoking to breath liquid water vapor.... with "flavors" lol all that shit is , is the chemicals they use to spray on tobacco , instead they save money by you not having any tobacco and just give ya the straight out chemical mixture to vape... hahahaha wadda bunch of maroons! oh well, we all have a vice, I'm going out side for a smoke.

WASP was not writing Stairway to Heaven or Bridge Over Troubled Water. Nor did they claim to be.
So, to say that they sucked is not needed. They were not trying to be great.

WASP were great at what they did, which is cheesy songs and gimmicks. And realize that in 1982, they weren't ripping anyone's gimmick off. That is how things were on Sunset back then.

I don't know if they were 'better'. They were different, so it is hard to compare. Poison was much more pop-ish and radio friendly, while WASP (obviously) was not.

I only made the reference because they didn't think they were the 'greatest musicians ever', they only wanted to achieve super stardom. Guys like Steve Vai go for musicality, and impress musicians with what they can do. While the other 95% of the population want simple diddies about Jack and Diane.

And WASP was the same way. They weren't trying to be taken seriously. I doubt they had any inspiration to be considered a modern day Mozart.

They were different but the same in many ways, lyrically party and fuck songs.

Wasp wore makeup and leather, looked like some rough dudes, Poison wore makeup and spandex looked women-ish.

As to instrumentally being better are we going to pit CC vs Chris ? Because if we are my money is on CC in that time period, he was doing instructional videos for Hot Licks and such, no one ever approached Holmes on theory, scales or the like that i remember.
