Yes saw that yesterday from Marty's FB page, where he'd got a guy up on stage to jam with him and he gave the guy his PRS to play. The dude could play pretty good too!

Marty does look "like Marty" when he's playing a Kelly IMO.

Not a fan of the "Broderick" headstock on his "LP" but at least he's playing 24 frets again! Wonder if it's short scale since his PRS was 25"?

Yeah, finally Marty is playing the Kelly again, the best looking guitar on him IMO! I'm seeing him with Exmortus here in San Francisco on the 29th! Can't wait!

Thanks for sharing the pics. Unless my eyes deceive me, the knob placement of that Kelly is really out of the way huh

You are seeing correctly. Marty's signature line of Kellys had the volume knob out of the way and down in the corner near the input jack. It looks like they moved this knob even lower though, my guess is to make it symmetrical with the toggle switch on the lower front horn.

And here's a few more pics from that show that I took with my camera. Still disappointed how they turned out due to the red and blue lighting that was on the entire show. Also, here's a pic of the 7 string custom shop guitar that his other guitarist was playing.

I'm so sorry I missed Marty. Inferno is amazing with the exception of Danko Jones or whatver that is. That's the only one I skip...

I'm never gonna see him. I'd love to talk to that dude. I have '85 Hawaii and other stuff. It was on a work night, which exactly the way I actually meet bands/players. Which is perfect for me..but not the bands so much.

Which is a perfect example not to follow somone's rules. My son's hand is just like that, over the neck pickup. The fastest Slayer riff is half speed for him. His right hand is untouchable. He does that whie I solo, and trade ideas. It's amazing.

Many kids today are NOT blues based and just blaze. There's 16 year old girls that smoke most of us!

Marty can play anything wishes...a banjo...meat whistle.

Darkwormwood..EXMORTUS "Slave to the Sword"..rules.!!! Moonlight Sonata..now that's fuggin' playin' with fire. I love that! Lots of fun. 16 year old "Tina S" girls are playing perpetual burn to warm up now.

                        .
Normally I'd agree, but the rest of Inferno is so fucking batshit crazy it actually sounds good to have a "regular" song with some singing break things up for a bit hahaha!
Man that song with the sax solo - so wrong but so right, it kicks ass. The one with the acoustic parts is particularly cool too.
I do own the CD but fuck knows what the songs are called, without a chorus I'm lost.

Ha...Batshit crazy is a good description! That Darko Jones or whathaveyou..is ...um...why is that the middle of the album?

Just not a fan of Darko Jones I guess. I can relate to the song. I can't relax!

I don't get his voice either. You heard this? It came out about the same time as Marty's album. Old thrash legends seem to like this Jones dude.

Marty was great - I saw him at HOB Anaheim on 10/1.

Your pics turned out well - mine sucked and were blurry.

Those were cool guitars and it was nice seeing Jacksons again. The PRS is quite nice as well.

His hot Japanese girl bassist stole the show!
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
