        As amazing as Steve Vai is. I can make ONE record of great songs in 30 years. I'll take Tony Mac instead..that true virtuoso has colon cancer. I just learned this. I wish I didn't, and I wish the best for him!

          That would be interesting- I think what would trip YJM up are Steve's masterful use of the bar and his penchant for the odd, unusual sounds he coaxes from his Jems.

              He could do it, if by "learn" you mean discard Vai's weak melodies and solos and totally improvise something way better.
