  • So Phil Collen has another new PC on tour

Saw DL in Lafayette last week. He had Bela in the rack but didn't use it live. Instead it was:

    PC Stealth
His old Solar with the new reverse headstock neck
    PC Supreme
    And this new blue PC.

Basically looked like a regular PC, but with a cool blue (maybe metallic) and a matching headstock. Killer show as always. I'll post a pic.

+1. Looks much better all black like that.

I wonder what the bridge pickup is, though? Blade-style, so it's clearly not a Super 3 as listed.

Well now I'm embarrassed a bit.

I had no idea this guitar was released......

The pickups he had were zebra.

              Here's a better pic.

(Oh by the way... I had REALLY good seats!)

How many rev headstock strats does he own? I know the splatter and his neckthru.... any others?

The live pic of him playing it isn't a blade style, but the ebay listing is, IMO, an X2N. That guitar will sound like a monster!
Although...looks like the upper horn around the neck pocket already has a crack!

Yeah, I meant the eBay one. And, unfortunately, neck pocket cracks line that are all too common on bolt-ons. Usually just cosmetic, though.

The blue sparkle is a different guitar.
Phil is going to be giving this one away. Still waiting on the contest details.

Oh, is that the neck through with reverse headstock?

Not sure on the neckthru part, but yes, it has the reverse headstock.
                            Killer looking guitar.

While I'm not a fan of reverse Strat headstocks, that blue sparkle finish is mesmerizing!
