Yeah, you're right, I'm just hoping he has switched Jackson.

Well if he's playing one, maybe he has. Would be nice to see people switching back to the bloodline.
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

Looking at his feed he has a pic of him playing the ESP on the 16th and the Jackson on the 18th so... I have a feeling we shouldn't be holding our breath. again it would be awesome if he did

sorry one more post, i went looking up Gus G moving to Jackson and I found someone who claimed to have asked Gus and apparently yeah he's now with Jackson. Take it with a grain of salt, it is the internet -- but cool.

This is from Jackson's official Instagram account so yeah, it's definitely legit. Good score!

God kicked back with a beer,
And gave that Jackson one helluva beating!

Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

Great, even more signatures the Custom shop won't sell

Oh that's awesome, been a huge Gus fan since way back in the Dream Evil/Mystic Prophecy days.

This is cool, but I figure ESP got the best of the deal. Gus isn't quite the name he was when he got the Ozzy gig.
Still a great player, but his spotlight has dimmed.

I agree with this. I would love to have a USA built Demmelition but no they won't make them.

                          USA SIGNATURE GUS G. STAR

                          OVERVIEW
                          Coming April 2017.

Gus G. has spent the past decade affirming his status as one of metal’s reigning guitar virtuosos. He has recorded more than a dozen studio albums, has established himself as an acclaimed solo artist, and has also managed to find time to perform worldwide with acts as diverse as Arch Enemy, Dream Evil and his own band, Firewind. He’s also been Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist since being personally handpicked by the heavy metal legend in August 2009, thus continuing a long-cherished tradition of Jackson-wielding Ozzy Osbourne guitarists dating all the way back to Randy Rhoads and the company’s 1980 founding.

Jackson pays homage to the Greek Metal God with his very own USA signature Gus G. Star, offering a new take on one of Jackson’s original avant-garde body shapes.

Premium features include an alder body, one-piece through-body quartersawn maple neck with satin urethane back finish, graphite reinforcement rods and scarf joint, 12” radius fully bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 custom jumbo frets, Jackson’s pointed 6-in-line headstock and the option of a Gus G. logo in mother of pearl at the 12th fret.

A pair of active humbucking Seymour Duncan® Gus G. Signature Blackouts power this pointed-machine with thick, meaty and towering tone, that can be controlled by a master volume dial and three-way toggle pickup selector switch. Its TonePros® adjustable Tune-O-Matic style bridge with Gotoh® stop tailpiece, bone nut and Sperzel® locking tuners work in tandem to provide outstanding tuning stability and durability.

Available in Satin White with Black Pinstripes or Satin Black with White Pinstripes, the USA Gus G. Star bears brooding black hardware and comes in a hardshell case.
