Probably due to trying to match what Ibanez did to fix the trem on his LACS guitars. He likes the locking bridges but wants them hard-mounted to the body so the don't move at all.

Cool, thanks man! I have a Rhoads and a King V and they both fit in the same hard case so I never realised the Rhoads had a bigger upper horn. That actually looks as cool as fuck.

Yeah, that makes sense. I know Ibanez had a few hard-mounted locking bridges on certain models.

Think it was the Slipknot page and it's a double rhoads. Mick is just so huge that a double rhoads looks like a king v on him.

I guess Slipknot isn't starving and still collecting checks. Bravo to them.
