I have nothing against the X Series but this man deserves a USA signature model. Especially given his previous history as a USA KE1 endorser.

I'm pretty sure his personal guitars are USA Custom shop models. Not sure if they'll release USA models for the public.

That makes sense. Actually an X Series version might do better, sales-wise, than a USA version. It would be more affordable and more attainable for consumers. Jackson probably has their reasons.

Hopefully they will release it like the Gojira Rhoads where there is a import model and a US model released.

Early word is there will be a JS model and a USA.

Not a great pic, but here's the JS.

I like the stop tail and the lack of a tone knob is new and cool for a Jackson import, but as most seem to agree, a Pro model would be nice.

That's a Friedman model? I thought he was doing the Monarch thing. Wouldn't the star be for Gus G?

I guess those pin stripes are a deal breaker for me. And I don't like the beveled top either.

I'm fully impressed with how dark these rosewood fret boards are getting on these lower end models. Those pics would pass for ebony.

It really does look like ebony. I'm not a huge fan of the white pickups, but they do work.

                              Same here about the pups.
When I got my Iceman last winter the ToneZone/AirNorton were each crème/black. After a month I put black tape over the crème.
