Last week I went out and got the remastered Peace Sells, SFSGSW, RIP and CTE. They sound amazing! Chuck Behler's drumming has some balls to it now! Anyways, I'm really excited about the new album, though I wish it was Marty back!

Oh, hey, lets play a game. Who do you think would be cool in the lead fiddle spot in Megadeth if non of the former guys are in the line up? Here's my list:

Nick Menza is back in the band for sure. I don't know who is playing bass for the tour. Rumours are strong that Jeff Waters is a strong contender for 2nd guitar.

Last I heard, Jimmy Sloas will be the touring Bassist as well........ As for the 2nd guitarist, there have been many names in the hat but no concrete decision as of yet. As for the album, those naysayers who thought Mustaine was done and would probably put out some kind of crap metal like his former band did....well, listen to The System Has Failed and be prepared to be stuck with perma-grin from beginning to end! St Anger this is not....... It's real f'n Megadeth, and probably the best real metal album of the last decade. The label told him to write an album for himself....one he personally would be proud of and forget the trends....he did just that. JUST WAIT TILL SEPTEMBER 14TH.....EVERYTHING CHANGES THAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I'm a big Megadeth fan and already have all their albums. Are the new remasters that much better than the original? I've been listening to RIP for the last couple of days and think is sounds pretty good. Should I try the new one?

I have the new RIP and Peace Sells and there is a huge improvement in sound quality. The only thing I don't like is most of the vocals on RIP. Some of them are bad and some just down right cheesy. The music is great though.

i'm a major megadeth fan but for me, megadeth mustaine and ellefson. and IMO, nick mensa is THE BADDEST drummer dave ever had!i guess i'm not as big a afn as i thought cause i don't know about ellefson sueing dave. what's the story guys?

I can't remember his name but the drummer from Maiden is badass....I know he's kind of old and what not but check out the song, "Where Eagles Dare", GREAT drum tune.

I officially have all the remasters! SFSGSW moved from an album I liked to an album I really love! The cleaned up sound makes you realize what a great bit of work it is, Chuck is actually a pretty good drummer!

I say run out and get them, it's worth it.
