  • Who is that Dan guy with the custom pointy stars?

There was a thread on him a while back. He had 3 or 4 custom shop guitars. One of them had lasers in it or something. I think they were pointy stars, but they might have been kelly stars.

Anyone have a clue what I'm on about?

Dan Fastuca, I think. Crazy pointy Jacksons that were at NAMM 2003. His band is Jet Black?

            It\'s called a Fastar

The model is called Fastar. Sort of a pointy KellyStar.

Here I am playing Dan's Blood Drip Fastar at a previous NAMM:

Hahaaaar! Ron to the rescue. A Fastar indeed!!! Now I'm really in trouble, because I have 3 shapes to decide between.

              1. Kelly Star
              2. Pointy Star
              3. Fastar

By the way Ron, since you've actually held one, you can give me your thoughts. The Fastar looks significantly bigger than a Warrior or Kelly. You're a big guy, and it looks perfect on you. Is it actually bigger, or is it an optical illusion?

I played them at NAMM too. They are bigger than a regular star.

Yes, they are significantly larger than a Kellystar. That is because Dan F. is also quite a big guy...he is about 6'5" and muscular.

                          Yea, the guitar looks big.
Even Dan and Ron hodling it,the guitar would look so big.
You have to be huge like guys in WWF to play a guitar like that.
