I thought that part of Dave's snit against Jackson was that they weren't interested in his idea for a new guitar model. I'm assuming that the Axxion is that idea.

Steve: That BC Rich was what became the Ignitor. I think the Ignitor looks better than this POS. Chuck said they gave him the prototype but he didn't care for it.

I believe Chuck also had some obscure guitar maker build him a couple of unique shaped guitars too. I can't remember the name though.

Dave not using Jackson anymore kinda ruins Megadeth for me. The new stuff is alright, but these guitars suck ass. A big part of Megadeth is image Jacksons with Sharfins are a part of that image for me. I remember hearing about Dave being pissed that Jackson wouldn't do this for him. I'm glad they didn't.

The Axxion looks almost exactly like the BC Rich Ignitor.

The ESP/LTD AX-350 is way better than the Axxion. It at least has the look of a design that was carried through from start to finish, unlike that hideous new turd.

The Axxiom is the perfect guitar for ESP. Instead of ripping off one model they can rip off multiple models at once! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I think that one and the Ignitor both look like abortions.
