hehe. No big deal. The dudes messing around with hair dye now. It's not like he has taken to wearing a mask or face paint or a goofy costume. And it's not like he doesn't have the ability to back up any silly look he comes up with. Anyone remember George Lynch's two-tone hair back in the 80s?
Sorry guys, but I'm not saying a word about his style choices because he not only shreds me with 4 fingers tied behind his back, but he's married to one hot chickadee...
DT has always experimented with looks. Portnoy has had several hair color changes and let's not forget when LaBrie looked like a French swashbuckler. (Falling Into Infinity tour obviously influenced by the flamboyant Derek Sherinian) The only person in the band who hasn't changed at all is John Myung. But however they look it still doesn't change the fact that they could rip the roof of whatever venue they're playing.
**the George Lynch 2-tone hair was inspired from Lamahl from Kajagoogoo (he admitted it in a recent article)

In 2000, a LA show where Dixie Dregs did the opening; the roof was already RIPPED OFF even before DT stepped on the stage. Maybe because Dixie Dregs was WAYyyyy too good, therefore, the rest of DT's set was just
