    Suffocation!

    I don't think they use jacksons (I've only ever seen pictures of them with bc riches), so my apologies if this is the wrong area for this, but I'm fallen in love with Souls to Deny lately (and that made me dig out Pierced From Within, Human Waste etc)... Damn I love these guys. Anyone know what they're using lately amp-wise? (in particular on the new album?)

    I can't wait for them to get out here in February or whenever they finally make it back to california!

    I look and see if I got some pics of their gear. They do use B.C rich guitars though. I'm certain of that.

        hmm.. I can make out marshall and what I'm guessing is line6 (I'm thinking the ampegs are for the bass?)

          That Ampeg is a guitar head ..an older one ...possibly a VL series Lee Jackson

          I had two Ampeg Lee Jacksons...if not , they look very similiar.

              I do believe the Ampeg is a V-140C, or something like that. Old solid-state heads that these guys are pretty famous for using.

                ampeg vh - 140c

                altough... as somebody posted pics on the bcrich forum on their euro tour they are using flextone II's. I know in US they use that ampeg and a line 6 head (hd147?)

                and yes - Suffocation rules - especially "Catatonia" from Despise the sun [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                  Well i guess you really can't judge from live pictures. Often bands play what the tour management rents. Of course a death metal band will not rent a fender blackface. But as long as it's high gain i guess it will work for them.
                  It would be interesting to know what they use in the studio and what are their personally owned amps at home and at rehearsal.

                    they used that ampeg in the videoclip and on all tours before the current european - i think now they're endorsed by line6 so it can change.
