  • Arsis fans.

I saw Arsis this past weekend and was hangin' out with the guys before they played. Their first tour since being on Willowtip is almost over and they said they got contacted by Nuclear Blast and Century Media. Pretty cool huh? Touring was really rough for them and they still have day jobs as receiptionists, (haha), they were talking about how bad their van smells. Anyway, these guys are working really hard and have some killer tunes so if you haven't checked them out, you should.

BTW, they finally found another 2nd guitarist.

Also, their album "A Celebration of Guilt" is about to be re-released with some extras on it and a live DVD. Should kick ass.
Check my Jackson themed Myspace page, hear some good metal, and check out a little shred fest by me.

very awesome band ...I would see them if they came thru Cleveland..

Willowtip is a pretty cool label ...there is some great stuff on that label..
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
    Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

Yes...I email back and fourth with Jim Malone...it's looking inevitable that they will be signing with a more "distributed" label very soon. They are very cool guys (have yet to see their live set though)...but the album is awesome, and it's still in regular rotation in my CD player.

Bill...If you liked the album versions of "Worship Depraved" and "Wholly Night" you should hear the demo versions! Much more sinister sounding! Slightly different than the album versions.

I also like the demo a bit better too I think.

I can't even count how many times I've seen them live. The best part is it's only been like 4 bucks each time I've seen them. Jim just assaults and rapes his damn guitar.
