An oldie but a goodie! There's also a much older version floating around where he's using a wild 27 fret axe, and does use frets 24 - 27 for portions of No Boundaries.
I always wonder how they manage to speed up the film during his "over-under" passages but he still manages to merge with the music! No way a human can move that fast... but then again, Michael Angelo's playing is inhuman to begin with. I always love seeing that video but it's always on my brother's computer... time to save me a copy for myself.

Hah, you think THAT one was insane?
You should see "Speed LIVES", the earlier version with the 27 fret monster axe. Its basically the same, very little "slower" licks, its just a sweeping, freak picking monster of a song.
I have it on my computer, if somebody wants to host it, you can have it. As well as a cool "Freight Train" video when he was with Nitro where he does the 4 necked guitar bit, its pretty cool. And a random instructional video, where he talks about modes and goes into a cool song.
I saw Mike at a guitar clinic not too long ago here in Indy. The man is crazy. That is no video trick in the slightest. I about died watching him like that. It was a small setting out side of a music store. He had the double neck Dean and would flip it upside down and then lift it up in the air while he was playing two different melodies. I was completely at a loss for words how someone can get that good. He said he has studied a lot of symphonic instruments and he chose guitar because you could do many different varities of sounds. If any of you ever get a chance to see him definately do it because it is an amazing watch.
no ****, dudes...i showed my 11 year old brother, and he was jaw-dropped. "he'd be the best drummer out there, and i bet his punches are cool!", haha. i wish i could see him work that quad neck. that would be crazy.
I'm pretty sure Dean is buiding Mike a new Quad. There's a vid clip somewhere of the Freight Train video from like 1986...it's hilarious! The old Quad descends from above right into Mike's hands!
oh hell yeah!
they didn't speed up this video or anything, i saw this guy live here in rotterdam, and it was AWESOME. his skills are pretty sick! As a matter of fact, dean is building a new quad neck right now. the old one was stolen or something like that...
