    Mastodon- Leviathan

    I just grabbed it today. It was worth every penny. I am impressed. Not much for leads..but they make up for it in fancy melodic interludes. The drumming is spectacular and I really like the vibe of the whole album. They are very capable players that is certain.

    very raw tone...any idea as to what they use for gear?

    I know the drummer smokes and they are tight as hell and they grabbed me enough to buy their last one but it doesn't get too much play to be honest.

    how does it compare to "Remission" Drip.

    They also remind me of The End in a way....on Relapse label as well [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

          i think they're the ones that use an 80's Gibson LP Custom Silverburst and an 80's Gibson V. anyone know if they use emgs?
