I wouldn't be surprised to see a new amp company called "EVH" with a flagship amp called...5150. Then just have an endorsement deal with the Charvel EVH line to supplement his income.

Hey, PV has a way to make the Wolfgang and 5150 with a diferent name and not give EVH more money! That means cheap gear for us!

It would be great if they opened up the Custom Shop again. Just a few cosmetic changes and they could easily still make that guitar.

as far as the amps go my guess would be crate but marshall would be cool. i think crate would totaly kiss his ass to sign him and he seems to really like his ass to be kissed these days.

I've always wondered - how much money per guitar did Ed get? Per amp? And then I'll wonder how many were sold over the years. Anyone have any ideas?

it will also be interesting to see what they sell those 6505's for compared to the 5150. that might give you a idea on how much ed's cut was.

I doubt the amps or guitars will be any cheaper. Everybody knows they're still the same thing Ed endorsed, just without his name.
I doubt the Carina will look or play much different from a Wolfgang and the 6505 looks like a 5150. Did EBMM drop the price of the Axis compared to the EVH model? I don't know, but I'm curious, and think probably not.

Either way, at this point Peavey has a better rep than Ed does. Whatever endorsements Ed does I would imagine will flop when he goes back into his hermit's shell. I hope I'm wrong about that.
