I went to a buddy(who owns a cd store) of mine yesterday to wish him a merry christmas & he gave me the boxed set which contained the live cd & concert on video, sat down last night after all the kids went to bed & watched it, man did it take me back, you wanna talk about perfection, I had almost forgotten how awesome these guys are.

I've got "Live crime" myself....Killer video. They are coming to St. Louis on Jan. 20th to a small club on the East side called Pop's. $25 a ticket. They are doing the complete Mindcrime show plus another hour show of hits.

Cant wait!!

HUge QR fan here. Saw them many, many, many times. Including this years "Evening With Queensryche" tour. I have the box set also - the VHS version!

What a coincedence - I just threw out my VHS of Livecrime this weekend... it was down in storage with all my other VHS tapes (useless dead medium), and baking in the boiler room is not good for tapes.

Well I just checked the website and, of course, they're not coming to DC (Philly is the closest show). DC has to be one of the worst areas for hard rock/metal. Half the tours don't come near here. And there's only one club - JAXX - where you can go to hear/play metal. Arrrrrrgh!

I saw them on the Building Empires tour and they performed all of Operation:Mindcrime at that. It was flawless. Saw them in 2000 when they opened for Iron Maiden, thought I was seeing a bad Queensryche cover band. I would have to be convinced Tate can sing again before dropping a dime on another one of their concert tickets.

Sorry, back to topic. I saw them on the Empire tour when they played all of Mindcrime and it was awesome! Haven't seen the Livecrime video of it but I'm guessing it would be great also.

Man, I'm going to miss em here in St. Louis... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] That blows! Pop's is a killer place to see anyone, nice and small, but roomy, ya know? You can get up close an personal there, it's nice in that regard.

But.... I'll be at NAMM, as always, I miss something killer when I go out of town.

They are killer tho and it should be awesome! (I've got the DVD as well, it's some very killer stuff)

When they were on tour with Metallica and the tour stopped for Metallica to do the Grammy awards QR played a tiny bar in Winston-Salem, NC. It was the best show I have ever seen and probably I ever will. We met them all, sat 2 feet away from the band the whole show, and just had a great time.

Hell the opening band's guitarist played a zebra SD Charvel and a gold SD Charvel, to boot!

I will not see QR now without DeGarmo.
