I watched the Piece of Your Action video and it really took me back to what I feel is their best time. Not to hijack the thread but, is there a link or page to see more of the US festival footage. I think there was a metal day with some killer bands.

I just watched it and I couldn't understand a word Vince was saying... Or are the verses to Dr. Feelgood really "Hanna hanna nana na nana na hanna"??

Hahaha. Once he started singing I honestly said "What the hell is he saying?" out loud.
Nothing Rivals Evanescence's performance at the Billboard Music Awards, though. Someone forgot to tune and it sounded so very, very bad...
I missed the original airing early on New Year's Eve so I watched the re-broadcast around 3 AM. I thought they sounded pretty damn good except for what Tekky said... ROTFLMAO! I just heard on the radio this morning that they're coming to Greensboro (NC) Coliseum in April. Bleeeeeeeekk!! The accoustics in that place are soooooooo bad. Last show I saw there was AC/DC and we left early... that's how bad the sound was. I'd really hate to miss MC this go-around. I haven't seen them since '87 when Gn'R opened up for them and I was asking myself, "Who the fukk are these guys?" Guess I'm gonna have to check out what venue they're playin' up in Hampton Roads, VA.... my old stomping ground. Any JCFers from there know?
My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!
With regards to Mick holding up on tour, here's a little article from melodicrock.com regarding a stand-in for Mick during the upcoming tour:
Further Motley Crue news comes from the rumor mill, with suggestions guitarist Mick Mars is not going to feature very heavily in the tour. It's no secret Mick has been very sick over the last couple of years and I am told there is a plan for Mick to tour with the band, but only appear during each night's encore and also all public appearances and autograph signing sessions. That means the band will need a guitar player for the bulk of each night's show and to date, Tracii Guns and Dave Navarro are the two names linked with the band. Tracii has spent much of the last month slagging of the band's new single - putting him on the outer and yesterday, Navarro stepped forward with a comment of his own. Via his website, Dave stated: "There is a rumor here that I might be participating in the upcoming Motley Crue tour. I have not been approached by anyone associated with Motley Crue. I do plan on going to see them. I just figured, "Hey, I have my own site, why not just set it straight now?" I pray for Mick's swift recovery if he is, in fact, dealing with health issues."
Navarro was responding to this original news item from BW&BK: "According to BW&BK sources, rumor has it that MOTLEY CRUE guitarist Mick Mars will be replaced by Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro on their forthcoming reunion tour. Mars' ongoing health problems are the reason for the switch."
Mick Mars has talked of his current condition - most recently with Metal Edge Magazine. Here's what he had to say:
"It's really rough for me being out on the road, it's rough keeping up with the schedule. It's rough enough for a healthy guy, but I weigh 112 pounds and I'm not fully recovered yet, and I've done all this stuff already that's really wearing me down faster than I can heal."
And on whether he can get healthy in time for the 2005 tour to start: "Probably by then. It all depends how much they're going to schedule in between. It's kind of like if you wake up from a deep sleep, and have to go straight to work and can't go back to sleep — you're going to be tired. You need to catch up on sleep before you can really be awake. I have to be healthy before I really start working again."

I did wasn't a big motley fan-still not
Not knocking them though.
To me they looked like crue. Motley has never been about being great musicians-to me anyway. They are a good time band that has songs people like to sing to. What leads are the awesome Mick leads cause I don't know? I always thought he had great hooks in his songs though and was a solid player. He sounded pretty good to me. Hey if you want to get ripped and sing some old 80's tune and enjoy yourself go see them.If you want to critique musicianship and how people have aged go see vai. Musicians have got to be some of the most fickle fuckers around, everyone else just dances, headbangs, sings along, and enjoys the music. Meanwhile 90% of muscians watch with their arms crossed looking for the fuckup.
She's got a great body and would be fine if she didn't SHAVE HER EYEBROWS OFF !!!! What's the deal with that? Between the eyebrowns painted on and the goofy looking painted line around her lips(ala. Mexican chicks), she looks like a freak.
I saw the remaking of vince tonight, yeah she is kinda scary. I never realized he got that heavy for awhile. Defintly interesting show, i hope he keeps it off!
