I think that guitar is ugly. Moser tries too hard to be radical in his designs. But then I'm the guy who refuses to play anything but strat/super-strat and Les Paul shaped guitars because I fear poking myself on a sharp corner.

Yeah...builders like Neal, and Bernie Jr. have become a little extreme in their designs (IMO)

I wasn't aware that Neal designed the Beast, the actual one that BC Rich builds... (Well Neal and Brian Hoffman).

I don't like any of Neals new(er) designs either really. That Bastard V looks like points and tips would break off it just by looking at it the wrong way.

The Bernie Jr Vs still looks like Vs, though, and are not just extreme for the sake of being extreme designs. They still look good. I can't say the same about the Mosers, as far as my taste goes anyway. And I second the "Don't look at it funny or things will break off"-motion - kinda like in Spinal Tap. "Don't touch. Don't point. When my old band toured with them in 2002 he was using his Beast exclusively... his KV was at the side of the stage as a backup, but was never used. Both guitars were beat up to f**k by the way... he'd dropped a really old Floyd into the Beast and the guitar tech just couldn't get it to stay in tune.

German, yes, industrial.. hell no. Good ol' fashioned thrash metal. They did some experimenting, but they were never quite in the Industrial-area like Rammstein are. Maybe you thought of them?

Brian Hoffmann designed the Beast, not Moser. Moser and Brian Hoffmann designed the MCS Beastmaster, which is a spin on the Beast. The Moser Spawn is a variation of the Beastmaster and will not poke you anywhere like a Beast will.

Yeah...the RENEWAL disc was heavily experimenting with a more "industrial" approach, as was the follow up, I believe.

I had lost interest in them when they went in that direction. I even thought the last album was good...but they still missed something in their aggression.
This new disc "Enemy Of God" puts them back where they were before "Coma Of Souls". I'm really into them again!

Yes, the same Brian Hoffmann. He designed the Beast, asked Bernie Sr to make it. Then Bernie mass produces them and doesn't pay Brian royalties.

"ENEMY OF GOD" kicks huge amounts of ass..great production...I love the drum sound..

I guess this is what my band would sound closest to ...alot of people told me we sound like Kreator..that wasn't intentional...even though I love Kreator ...It really doesn't get too much play at the house...just way too much other stuff to listen to i suppose..

But this New one...EOG...is the best Kreator I ever heard..I love it...it's on RIGHT NOW four times in a row!!! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

The new CD does kick major ass. One of the best CD's i've heard. I'm gona get to see them next week. I'll try and take pictures of his new moser V and Jacksons for you guys [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]
