So he played the GT-8 through a Jazz Chorus? That may be why his tone was bad. Good for clean but a bit harsh for any dirty playing from my experiance.
No he went straight to the PA... The otehr gear there was for other Roland acts he used the GT-8 into the PA and had one of the Boss Drum machine 8/track things for all his songs...

Thanks for posting those! I remember when I first picked up guitar because of Marty I had a chance to meet him after a Megadeth show. I was a little 16 year old kid just giddy to meet my hero and when he finally came out the doors he was tiny! Really tiny, littler than my girlfriend! He's a sweet guy though, he was so cool to me that it just reaffirmed my love and admiration for him.
He's the only guitar player I listen to every day without fail.

I don't think he was really expecting to play seemed kinda like a alst minute thing... He was playing new songs that were not even finished...He was really nice but I don't think he was too thrilled about the whole thing..
BTW he made an announcement before he started playing and said I am not playing through the JC's I am thorugh the PA only like he was ashamed that he was on the stage with those amps... Funn I never thought I would hear shame in the voice of a Crate endorsee
