As I understand it, most of his graphic guitars were destroyed in the studio fire in 1990 (the Ninja Turtles extreme Rhoads certainly was). Someone posted pics here of a Spitz graphic in a Hard Rock (Hong Kong?) but that wasn't one of the 'famous' ones.

What's with the odd headstock joint on RR2636? I cant figure out what's going on there. Almost looks like the entire headstock was replaced.

I think most of his early custom Jacksons had maple fretboards: I have the 87 ATL Programme and from what I remember, the only Ebony board listed at that time was the turtles...I'm sure he had a matching pair on Turtles XTRRs, but I can't find the pic of the two of them together (maybe I imagined it!)

I think 2636 has had a totally new headstock - the neck is a 3 piece flamed maple, but the headstock is a standard scarf jointed plain maple....actually, I've just checked and the text states that the headstock was replaced.

Yeah - I have that on tape somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it out, but Danny did knock a vase over with one of the guitars that Rob has. I was praying when I first saw it that he wasn't going to trash the guitar!
