It may only be a covers cd, but atleast it isnt some lame tribute cd where he only plays the solos.

I am sure its just something to get started again.Finding a band may be more work then its worth for jake.I say, grab the badlands band and find a singer.Dont need to call it badlands, just make that style again.I love jakes songwriting more then his solos, and i really dig those.Voodoo highway is one of the top cds of all time.Great tone, very well UNDER-produced, and Gillens lyrics are incredible.

Way to go Jake!Glad to know your back!

Those old gibson 's he used in the 70's.Cant remember the names but they were hollowbodies.Kinda like a gretch falcon.

It's some sort of ESP. Xtreme or something like that. I saw it on the Jake Forum. They said he still likes ESP.

I believe he is endorsing them again, i am checking into that as we speak.ESP treat there guys real well.I would rather see him come back to charvel.That should be their next retro strathead, the blue or purple one.

yeah, it looks to be a custom ESP Xtreme. interesting looking...personally, i'm waiting to see if he's gonna do a different endorsement model than his old ESP strat...
