Yngwie does use a Les Paul in his rhythm tracks as well as his modded V while studio recording.

This does sound to have decent production and his stuff is so full of fire you can't just help but love him for keeping the spark alive or at least smile and nod. Its the same formating, but he mixes it up enough that it still sounds fresh and cool.
He seems to have matured a lot both in his playing and as a person.

I love the guy, very glad that everybody here's saying good stuff about him instead of making fun of his weight. Which btw, seems to have gone down quite a bit since G3.

He has to use that. He's so used shredding in huge gothic castles, you know like with vikings and dragons, etc, and the reverb makes it sounds natural...

Great clips, thanks DJM. I haven't bought an Yngwie album since Eclipse, so I was curious to listen. Locked and Loaded was good, but nothing new (the solo was awesome though). But I really liked Cracking the Whip!

Thanks for your lil' review.Sounds cool. As soon as I can get onto a faster than this ol molasses computer here I'll check out the sound file you posted too. I'll have to order the new cd from Japan sometime soon, always appreciate Japan pressings of cd's anyhow. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I love Yngwie's overdriven tone, he's an inspiration.Loved that track "Majestic Blue" from the last album,cool instrumental.

No problem, my pleasure! Yes I really think you should order it from Japan! I don't understand Japanese, but there are two dates on it, one being 05-02-23 followed by some Japanese signs, and the other being 05-08-23... probably the date for a worldwide release maybe?!?!
