Picked up the new issue of Guitar One magazine yesterday. Mark Morton (Lamb of God) has a new Custom Shop single cutaway model that looks like a bastardized Les Paul. It's trans black quilt with the split MOP shark inlays with abalone "eye" in between them, chrome hardware, TOM bridge/stoptail, two volume and two tone controls, two mini switches, two Duncan humbuckers. Anyone see any pics of this online? It looks pretty sweet!

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

In the new Guitar World there is one of those cartoon diagrams of Mark's gear in the back, and his likeness is holding a guitar labelled as "Jackson MM1 Mark Morton Signature." It looks pretty crazy, I'll have to check out the GOne issue too.

Yeah, it's a Swee-tone.

I've seen pics of him before with a Swee-Tone. This one is not a Swee-tone. It may be loosely based on one, and it does have the headstock of those models, but it's a single-cut model that's different than that Jazz 'R model. His clearly says Custom Shop on the headstock.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I just bought the mag too. The guitar looks pretty sweet. It's a trans black quilted maple arch top.

Seen Derick Green's new Jackson Custom from the S. Duncan website. Kinda like galvanized KV. I think Sepultura just upload their new video on the official website. His guitar can be seen in action there.

Toejam, use your digital camera, the poor man's scanner. (Funny, because most digicams are much more expensive than scanners! ) I used to do this before I got my own scanner. Don't hit the page straight on with the camera flash though... either go outside and take the pic head-on without a flash or hit the page at an angle if you need to use the flash indoors. Hi-resolution, preferably!
