If you like Melodic Rock AOR, you should check Fair Warning from Germany.
They were huge in Japan.
Also Last Autumn's Dream.
Thier Self titled Album and "2" are great too.
And of course, band like TNT is a must to listen.
I usually check bands from Europe for Melodic Rock stuff.
Also, this website is a killer site to check all these bands including MP3 samples. http://www.melodicrock.com/
Chris, I've got tons of stuff I can share with you via net.
PM me.
Maybe I can upload couple of new songs of Kee for you.

Thanks. I don't really download any music. Guess I'm old or something... I do a lot of cd trading though. I can email you a list of what I have though if you're interested - it's a Word file. BTW - I love melodicrock.com!!
I just got a copy of "Out of This World" off eBay for $2.99 a few minutes ago. I need a few other Quiet Riot cds to round out their collection, TNT's newest one, Westworld's "Skin". Maybe White Lion's "Fight to Survive" too. Mike Tramp's website has a few DVD's of the original lineup doing some live shows - I should pick those up too one of these days...
I'll drop you a line. Where do you live? We have lots of beaches here in Minnesota too...
Chris, I have the latest TNT I bought from Amazon last year.
K2, I bought it from a seller on E-bay as soon as it became available.
I also have Westworld,Quiet Riot, White Lion and so on..
I have an Excel file to keep track of what I have.
PM me, we can exchange our lists and maybe trade some copies.
Toru can you suggest some not-so-famous bands ala BLue Murder, Lynch Mob, Whitesnake etc. Haven't had much time to check all that stuff out on the melodicrock.com
Thanks!

I really like europe´s first 2 albums, but after that they went a little bit to keyboard based and not as heavy.
And btw i saw a larrivee guitar at a small local music store a week ago, that used to belong to someone in europe.
Unfortunally i think it was the keyboard player´s or something cause it wasn´t kee´s...
I found one on an ended auction on eBay that was the same as Kee's - basically a blue Soloist. BUT IT WAS LEFT HANDED!! Oh well... It's not like I REALLY need one, but they were pretty cool looking axes. They are a Canadian company, right?
Good list of bands BTW - I have most of them! I took a bunch of "new modern rock cds" to the store to trade in yesterday. Mainly because I'm fed up with tuned-down, hollering, generic, un-inspired crap, which, unfortunately, most new stuff today is. I picked up Blue Murder, Arcade, Cinderella Live, and a couple from the Scorpions. A good day in the used cd store IMHO.
I listened to some clips on melodicrock.com and discovered a kickass band Sonic X, definetly worth checking out.
I think you'll like it Toru

> I downloaded The Final Countdown Live, and the Larrivee he played most in this set looked like like Pearl White, but kept changing in the light. Kee and John Norum had a pretty cool tone,Kee especially to me. In the video I have,he plays a really cool 6-7 minute solo, complete with Flight Of The Bumblebee, although not as fast as Petrucci does it. If anyone wants it,figure out a way for me to post it,problem is it's close 500Mb,wish I could edit the rest of the show and keep the solo.Tommy D.
