I was surprised at the tone - not very "gainy" at all. It's been years since I've seen these guys live; I thought it'd be a more distorted tone. I forgot how ghey those costumes were!

It's a zip so you'll have to download it to your system before watching it. The file is 155 MB.

Thanks for hosting that again. That quality is a lot better than the old video that I have of that show.

i don't know if you could call it a dueling, warren literally "torched" his face off during the morning after, this was the slippery fingered whiz kid in prime form.

That video brought back some great memories. First time I saw Ratt live was New Year's Eve, '84 at Long Beach Arena, CA with Lita Ford opening. They were my favorite band from that era. Warren was awesome live, but Robbin would always surprise me at some point with something cool too. Thanks for making that available!

                  Re: ratt live video

I was in the freakin' rafters, man, on Warren's side of the stage. Hadn't yet mastered the art of getting good concert tickets in LA. It was all good, though. I still remember getting a glimpse of Warren and Juan in the wings, getting their guitars strapped on just before the lights went down...the cheers rising up...and then there's Robbin alone centerstage with the red King V, cranking the intro to "U Think You're Tough"...

Ahhhhh...memories!!! He had a white one too, I think, and a black roundhorned V that he switched between. Warren alternated between the crossed swords and the black skull/blood drip all night; he didn't get the snakeskin and James Dean until next tour.

I can remember all of that, but can't remember where I put my keys or what I ate yesterday!

The original link does not work. Make sure you are using the link that bigdshadravan has. The video rocks the sound rocks Ratt rocks The file is about 150Mb, but is definitely worth the download time (I have DSL and it still took over an hour).

I'm a big Lynch fan; which by default makes me a Warren fan. His style during that era is so Lynch you can't tell the two apart in a blind test.

I was surprised how good Steven's voice was; I kept thinking it was lip syncing .
