Not a day goes by I don't think of Randy.He was the reason I wanted to be a great musician.I was lucky enough to see him on both tours with Ozzy...I miss him...Cort

I was watching VH1 Classic's Metal Mania today and the VJ, Eddie Trunk, mentioned that today was Randy's 23rd death anniversary. I took a moment of silence then proceeded to play my lame attempt at Crazy Train. LOL!! Randy, you will always be in this guy's beating METAL HEART!! Much respect.

He is sorely missed by me. He died a week or two before the concert I had front row dead center for. I was crushed, I was looking forward to seeing him up close. So amazing.

The concert was rescheduled a few months later, and Brad Gillis was in his spot. As good as Brad was, it was just not or never would be the same.
