Re: Anthrax Press-Release!!
I KNOW it's been talked about, and rumored about what with Ozzfest and all. Yadda yadda yadda, and I'm your Mama.
But they're actually re-uniting and going on a fucking TOUR!
(course... only two USA dates. Grrrr.)

Re: Anthrax Press-Release!!
Yeah, I heard about this the other day. I think they're playing a couple shows in Chicago first before heading over to Europe for a while. I imagine they'll tour the US after that. Fingers crossed. I also heard that they have not parted ways with Bush.

It JUST occurred to me...
This better not be an April Fool's joke.

Finally you realized it's an April fool.
Tomorrow, they will announce a tour with John Bush on Vocal.

Re: Anthrax Press-Release!!
Not to be a downer (I know I'm going to be the minority), but I like the Bush stuff much better than the Joey Bagodonuts era. Sound of White Noise is one of my favorite metal albums of all time. I've seen them with Bush 3 times and they always sounded incredible.
Didn't Spitz give up guitar to become a Swiss watchmaker ?

Re: Anthrax Press-Release!!
Yes he did, Mike. Spitz the Watchmaker. I dunno, whatever floats your boat I suppose.
And I agree with you about John Bush, he is my favorite too. If Frankie at least came back to play bass I would be happy as punch!

Re: Anthrax Press-Release!!
Yeah, it was better with Joey. When he left, the band lost all their distinctive personality. Megadeth was intricate riffage and whiney vocals, Metallica was a breakneck squaredance with yelling, Slayer was wheedly-wheedly guitar soloes and satanic crap, Anthrax was humor and social commentary. Without the humor, the comic book references, obscure cover songs, goofy hats, etc., Anthrax became just some generic band.please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking
