                      Alcatrazz Metallic Live '84

Couple of DVDs on eBay. Only the first one lists Via on the DVD though.

                        I have metallic Live.

I bought it off ebay... and it was not an original copyrighted DVD.

But it looks great and I was happy just to find the damn thing.

Call me crazy, but I thought Disturbing the Peace was WAY better than the Yngwie stuff. It's understandable, but kinda sad, that Vai went to chase the dollars with DLR after that--Vai had a very creative writing partnership with Graham Bonnett, I thought. I know that Vai reissued DTP in his ltd. edition boxed set thingy, but I wish that a properly remixed/remastered DTP would be generally released. I guess there's probably not enough demand for the label to bother.

I've got that vid on my comp here...great to see a young Vai blazing through that tune. Sometimes Bonnett's vocals can become a little grating/abrasive.

I agree with you there. I thought that DTP was a better record than Yngwie's Alcatrazz.
