Like being a kid in a candy store. Cool stuff. That guy Mike Hyde looks like our very own Ace in about 10-15 years.

Strung Out are a great band. I met them and they have some of the most 'show off' punk guitarist I ever heard along with Lagwagon. One of the few punk bands with solos and it's a nice change (don't get me wrong, I love a lot of punk bands but few bands do include solos)

                            Actually it's two guitars

How do you get a producer job like that?! It's his job sitting there and playing around with music all day long

Dude, they are gear whores! Here's most of the guitars they used to record the album, don't even ask about effects because there's too many to post!

                              Fender 12 String

                              Gretsch Duo Sonic

                              Gretsch Malcolm Young

                              Robs's 98 SG

                              Rob and Slimer

                              1958 Reissue Les Paul

                              Original 1962 Les Paul

                              Group Shot

Group2 with Chris' '85 Jackson concert bass with whammny bar

                              Jake's 93 Les Paul Custom

Jake's Fernandes Monterey with Sustainer pickup

                              Chris's late 80's neckthrough Kramer

                              Jake's old USA Bc Rich

                              Jake's 1988 Charvel

Regarding the question above about where he got his amp modded, I don't know off the top of my head but I can ask next time I see em. They get back from Australia this week and are playing a local show on the 23rd of this month so I'll try to find out for you.

Also, if anyone cares to listen here's the opening track to Exile In Oblivion. The intro is the Diezel and VHT mixed together with Jake's Custom ESP M2 and it sounds huge, I can't remember what other amps they used on this song but the tone is killer.
