You won't regret it, there are very high quality bolt on made guitars.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

          Are you sure its mahogany?
Not that I doubt you...the kami's are usually maple.
A mahogany body paired with a screamin' demon won't have the sound characteristics, as maple.

Yep, sumbitch weighed a ton. I ask, and they said mahog.

Kamikazes are made of maple, which is a very heavy wood. I am sure that the music store employees said mahogany, but who says guitar salesmen are supposed to know anything about guitars? I see how it could be confusing, both words beginning with the letter 'M' and all.

Well I'm keeping my eye on eBay for the REH video.

Since this is a Lynch thread, I also wanted to ask what people think of the Lynch/Pilson album that came out 2 years ago? I've thought of getting it but wanted to hear some feedback first.

I love it!!!! It's what Dokken should be... Great guitars, catchy tunes, and sans Don Dokken.

That cd rules for sure.Too bad they didnt tour for it.Supposedly, george has a box set coming out spanning his entire career of rare and unreleased stuff, including dokken demos with Pilson singing them.Either for the bfta cd or under lock and key.I keep hecking but no release date has been set.It was supposed to be out in time for x-mas last year.

                        Re: George Lynch Desert Camo?

Just for the record. The Kamikaze necks are 1 3/4 width at the nut, but the nut size is 1 11/16. This gives you some extra space on either side of the finger board.
The bodies are all maple. Maple weighs more than mahogany.
